Rock Star Crystal Gallery
On November 19, 2004 Ras Ben opened Rock Star Crystal Gallery and Wellness Center. Vibrations which resounded 'All are Well-come - Come Feel a Healing' greeted everyone at the door. Although it was small and nestled in the inconvenient Manayunk shopping district, Rock Star quickly grew in popularity as a place one can find sacred tools, empowering information, and spiritual sanctuary.
As a crystal gallery, Rock Star featured artists who used crystals and sacred stones in their works. Amun Mirage, Naim Davis of Infinite Treasures, Zendra and Baiyana of the Solar-Re collective, Kate McKiernan of Time Transformed, and Ron Wandering Feather were among the artist featured...
The only thing that is constant is change. On 7/7/07 at 7pm, Ras Ben divested from Rock Star and passed the gallery onto a collective of the artist who were once featured. Rock Star now has a new location - 20 E. Mt. Airy Ave. in Mt. Airy. Here is a link to its site. Ras Ben is still affiliated with Rock Star, and continues to facilitate workshops and healing sessions with the gallery.
