The Peace Weavers are a collective that promotes peace, human & environmental harmony, and spiritual unity of the nations. They have a farm called Thunder Mountain in Bath, New York, where every year they hold a Spiritual Unity of the Nations Gathering.
During the Gathering, there are several talking stick circles, prayer vigils, sacred fires, sweat lodges, etc. At the final sacred fire cirle, everyone present was asked to enter the circle, feed the fire corn meal and tobacco, and share a prayer.
When Ras Ben's appointed time came, he prayed to the Most High of creation - JAH Rastafari, the ancestors of humanity, and the elements of nature to teach humanity love loyalty. How to love one another and all things in creation. He asked the angels to show us how to live in harmony - what colors to wear, what tones to chant, what rites to conduct - to bring humanity more in alignment with the natural order...
After his prayer was offered and he rejoined the circle but before the next person entered to share, a small bird flew into the circle close to the fire. Everyone stopped to see what the bird would do. It casually hopped around the circle until it reached Ras Ben, at which time the bird flew onto Ras Ben's shoulder, then his crown...
The Spirit Bird Experience not only affirmed for Ras Ben that his prayers are answered, it sealed within his heart that God Almighty, the ancestors, and the elements of nature are omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent...
